My Newsletter Update – Madisonville TX Real Estate

EDIT: The photos were not displaying when I first posted this entry, but I’ve corrected the issue! Please take a look below.

Dear Friends,

It has been nearly one year since I last e-mailed you all to say “hello” and update you on my life and real estate work here in Madisonville. I hope this e-mail finds everyone blessed and in good health; please respond and let me know how you all are these days!

My wife Jennifer and I are enjoying life in Madisonville, especially the outdoor activities and projects that keep us busy. As of October, our backyard is now home to a small vegetable garden, an orange tree, and a compost bin! Here’s a photo of our square foot garden:

4’x4′ bed of rich soil containing greens, broccoli, lettuce, and more.

My work as a Realtor® continues to be a fascinating professional journey. Assisting buyers and sellers involves many unique experiences. For instance: dressing up like Indiana Jones and wielding a machete!

For those of you who enjoy social networking on Facebook, I’ve recently set up my business page: Facebook David Companik – Rural Property Specialist If you follow that link to my page, you can click “Like” at the top to keep track of my updates and become a fan! I’ve also become a member of the ActiveRain.com network of real estate professionals. What does this mean? Well, I now have the perfect venue for meeting other Realtors® in Texas and all across America. Should you ever need the name of a good agent in a market that I don’t serve, give me a call! I can refer you to a professional who will assist you.

The world of real estate is constantly evolving; even within the Madisonville area, we’ve seen our share of changes. I recently authored a study of the median sales prices in Madison County from 2007 thru August 2010, and the results were quite telling: I discovered that the median sales price of single-family homes declined -29% in less than 3 years, while rural acreage rose 16%. Thus, while the nationwide housing downturn did put pressure on our residential market, our land prices have appreciated and performed comparatively well. Although today’s real estate market presents new challenges, I am determined to help my clients overcome every difficulty by providing in-depth expertise, exemplary service, and effective use of the latest internet tools. This solid foundation helps my clients achieve their goals in a timely and effective manner. My commitment to excellence has earned me a 4.97 out of 5 “Client Experience Rating” from past and present clients. This record is unmatched in my rural market area, and I wouldn’t have it without you. Thank you all for voicing your recommendations!

If you know someone in need of real estate services, please encourage them to give me a call. Every referral is essential to my business and deeply appreciated.

Thank you for reading. I hope we will have the opportunity to work together again in the future. Stay in touch!

Sincerely,
